Disco 2 Td5 servicing
« on: June 15, 2012, 16:20:05 »
Hi again,

While this is on my mind - I have realised today my car hasn't had a service since I got it in January last year and 16,000 miles ago!!  I have fitted a K&N panel filter a while back so no worries there.  My question is I want to get the oil in the .......engine, diffs, gear box and transfer box changed as well as cooling system, power steering, brakes, ACE etc. for piece of mind as I tow my caravan with it.

How much is this going to cost me (non LR dealer/specialist)?  Is it worth getting all this done, it has done 102,000 miles and is a manual, it has a full service history.

Thanks

personally i wouldn't bother changing the power steering fluid or ACE fluid unless there is obvious signs of contamination. By all means get the others changed. Make sure you get both the oil filters changed!
