Water in fuel system....... Doh!!
« on: May 15, 2012, 13:45:30 »
I've got a B plate 90 with a 2.5n/a with a dpa pump. Got stuck in a rather
deep ford.... Have now got water in the fuel all through the system. When
I crack the injectors I have white milky water filled diesel coming through.
How do I get the system clear of water....?

Drain the tank to remove all the water from there and dispose of the fuel.
Remove the injector pipes and as many joints along the fuel system that you can, then blow through each one to remove any fuel/water/mix that there is in there. Then rebuild and prime up, a couple of little bits in there wont have much effect as it will soon burn off.
