200tdi engine block
« on: April 07, 2012, 20:36:09 »
is the engine block from a 200tdi defender the same as a 200tdi discovery engine?

my defender engine swallowed water and has spat something out the side of my engine block but i dont know quite what yet and i have a spare non running 200tdi discovery engine sitting around and was wondering if i could use the block and rebuild my defender engine ??

The blocks are the same...timing chest and manifolds are different and the ancilleries are in diferent places...but the important bit the block is the same
