Happy haircut.
Thanks man

Today I have to top coat my summer pickup lid, on account of the wife emptying the vacuum dust all over the last coat half an hour after I put it on. Beyond that internet and food mostly.
Unlucky. Back in the day I finished painting one of my series bonnets black and after the last coat one of the young chickens ran past it (having broken into the yard) and kicked dust all up over it as it was drying in the sun. Later that day the chicken progressed to dinner. It was a cockerel at the end of the day, and we already had an abundance of cock in that area

thanks for kind words - dog has made big improvements and got his normal character back. Time will tell how much he will heal but he is fairly good right now and can leap and sort of run too.

Been a wet weekend but still changed out the gearbox on the series1 on Saturday. Spent Sunday in Wales at parents. Today removed the engine from the Series1 with the aim of trying to fit the diesel replacement next weekend. I least want it mounted if not plumbed.

Work tomorrow with a big back log of orders having built up from 3pm Thursday - joy - busy busy.

It took 3 hours to replace one pin yesterday. Pain in the ar*e. Still, only 3 more left to do, joyous.

Oh we are now up to two lambs I have been reliably informed off today... :) Washed the 90 so it didn't look too grubby for taking to the interview tomorrow....

Today I noticed that the seam along the side of my center silencer had split and was blowing badly...

Sooo, I took the center section off the car and welded the tube ends to my work bench using 'L' brackets then cut the silencer out and using tube from an old 200tdi exhaust I created a new section joining the two ends then refitted it to the car.. the 3.9 doesn't sound any different so now I'm thinking of doing the same at the back or maybe a side exit straight through..

Today I have mostly been laid in the mud with my arm up to the shoulder emptying a culvert, boo hiss.

Tomorrow I'm riding shotgun in a Toyota cruiser on a lane trip with some fellows from northern monkeys.

Spent good part of today prepairing the floor of my Midget to acept the new sills and footwell panels, lots of grinding and jacking up/down trying to get the car level as can be before the sills are tacked in place got there in the end and the first weld runs are finished on the nearside, hopeing to have it roadworthy by mid summer

Today I smoothed out my 90. I lowered the tyre pressures to 27.5 front and 30 rear from 32 and 40 respectively. That has helped no end. I also extracted both anti roll bars, amazingly is still resolutely refuses to fall over when I go round corners and it is way less skittish. Well taken with it.
