L200 front springs
« on: February 24, 2012, 08:34:33 »
Hi All

A mate of a mate has a 1989 L200 lwb pickup and shortly i will be putting a 2 inch body lift on it.
He is also thinking about doing a spring over conversion on the back. my question is can you get longer springs and shocks for the front ?
Currently the front end is a bit nose down so i want to screw the torsion bars up a bit to level it up, but if he goes down the spring over route the front end will be way lower than the rear.

He has a set of 33 ready to go on.

regards

well not much happens on this side of the forum !!

I put a 2 inch body lift on matey's L200 but with the front end sitting lower than the back the idea was to screw the torsion bars up a bit.
Only problem is, it doesnt seem to have any.

Its a 1989 model. does anyone have any ideas as to how i can lift the front end a bit ?
I thought the springs might have sagged a bit over the years but I cant seem to find any longer than standard springs.
Any help
