Headlining
« on: October 05, 2010, 12:55:22 »
Does anyone have any recommendations for adding a head lining to my series II? In a past life somebody glued what I can only describe as a straw carpet to the underside of the roof as noise suppression. It works but makes the landy look even more like a barn find on the inside. After having it for seven years now I am finally looking for options to clean it up a bit.

you could always go for the La Salle kit, it's fibre glass and can/does have the radio and speaker pods included also they do door cards to match ...

or you can always glue camping mat (high density foam) into the panels/roof...

La Salle is expensive but very good kit by all accounts
it ain't broke ...

i ain't fixed it enough

Do a ebay search for van carpet lining.  Also a google search for T5 carpet lining.

A flexible automotive carpet that you glue on, looks good if you have the patience.
