Bump Stops
« on: September 02, 2010, 15:25:08 »
Hi all
Underneath my series 2a last night replacing the bit of cardboard on the drive to catch the drips,
and decided to check chassis for rot and noticed there are no bumb stops on the rear axel or straps

the motor is a 1970 series 2a 88' Diesel
should there be any can't see any holes for bolts.. :-k :-k :-k

thanks
Rob

i took the straps off my series 3
but it has bumps stops on the front and rear.
mines a 72" so its not that much older than your 2a.....i would say as a safe bet drill some holes and place some in but thats my opinion.   =D
