Hi,

After some advice on these motors, there's 2 near me, both 52 plates with around 80,000 miles on them and in good condition, both are around

Not normally on the 3.0  that happened on the older 2.8
Nissan Patrol GR LWB and a 3rd Gen Surf for fun...

Nope , the 3.0L is called the  "Grenade" in Australia......but UK versions don't seem to suffer the same problems . [-X
 The only gripe I have is the LC has fulltime 4wd against the part time Nissan  :oops:

Think i read somewhere the 3.0's 2003 onwards were better engines.
