« on: December 10, 2009, 18:53:03 »
hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me out with this one.

i have a series one with 3,5 v8 with auto box, i need a spedo cable for the vehicle.  the spedo its self is series I/II with a  push fit conection on. not sure what the fitting is at the other end, its not the one which plugs ina nd has the small for with the bolt in, if that makes sense.

any ideas greatly appreciated.

i the speedo is broken could you not take the cable out and take it to a parts place so you can match the 2 up because lets face it. with the speedo cable in or out it will make no difference to the speedo working!

Have you thought about just replacing the inner broken cable. If you find a similar length one you could just swap them over?

get a speedo from 3.5 auto and retro fit as it is the easiest and best way, then no confusion. if it breaks at a later date you know exactly which one to get.
