Can I use 0w30 fully synthetic engine oil in r380 box?
« on: December 02, 2009, 13:59:46 »

Just got box out/drained and happen to have some castrol edge fully synthetic engine oil in my garage?

Will this be much better than mt75 oil?

No, it will be poo, expensive and could lead to damage.  ATF and MTF are a different kind of oiol and the 'box is designed for it, it has a pump inside to circulate the oil which is more like hyrdraulic fluid than engine oil.
