Returning to Land Rover and Mud-Club
« on: October 19, 2009, 16:38:46 »
Hi all,
I've been away for awhile (no not prison) and although I have had a Discovery ES auto V8i during my time away from mud-club, I was working some very long hours and didn't get time to do anything but work and sleep.

Nowdays things are different, as is the job, more time to enjoy my new toy , a 96 Discovery XS 300 TDi manual.

Only brought it on Friday, so haven't had a proper look at it yet, but I've got a few things planned for it.

So anyway, I'm back so I thought I'd say ....Hi.
it's a mud thing............you wouldn't understand !!

Seems like forever......

.......the last time i was a member of MC, I had the Disco in the avatar and loads of members went up to Langdale Quest in north Yorkshire, First muddy puddle and my mainshaft in the gearbox sheard and i got a piggy back home on a AA recovery truck.

A member called Dereck took us round the course and one of the organisers had a courtesy car, a freelander which he ripped open the side on a log... oopps !

That must have been 2002 or 2003.

anyway I'm back for good and can't wait to get stuck in.
