today i picked up my new (to me anyway) jeep cherokee. 1996, its the 2.5 diesel that most people dont like...personally, i think they are great engines. ;) anyhoo....i like it.  :D taking it laning on sunday, so will see how that goes. Expecting it to be fine. Better than the bloody frontera's i have had before it. :roll: :roll:

Have also had disco's, defenders and series land rovers. But am not a landy snob.... Have no idea why they are selling for so much. Thats why i thought i would give a jeep a go....

i live in cheshire, not to far from chester...(right by the hill n ditch pay and paly site   :dance:)

but am going into north wales at the weekend.. Just the usual lanes, wayfairer, steps, white stones etc.. finish up with a nice brew and cake at a great tea shop in lake vernwy...(spelt wrong, i know) cant wait...

The VM's are OK - they just don't like being drowned do they?? - saying that no engine likes being hydrolocked does :lol:

I'm on my second diesel cherry - the first engine going strong :D

your right... not many motors like the joy of being 'locked... :lol: :lol: Have only done it once, that was in a series 3 landy with an iveco diesel in it. got it to run on the 2 cylinders that weren't knackerd just to get me home. Luckily i was only a couple of miles away..
