Warn XP or Bowmotor
« on: August 26, 2009, 13:16:23 »
Hi all, I need to replace my front winch motor on a winch comp challenge truck, Its a Single motor Warn 8274,
It has a Xp motor already ( although dead) But should i fit another Xp or a Bowmotor  :-k OR something else  :?

I have been happy enough with the warn motor but As the saying goes " If you dont try you will never know"  :)

Whats up with the current one? has it literally exploded?

Ive just had a dead 9.5ti motor rebuilt for £70 at a Bosch dealer.

Hi there, not exploded just worn out, For reliability reasons i will fit a new Xp, and look into getting the "old" one rebuilt as a spare for front or rear at that price, Many thanks for all replys
