Fitted stand heater to new Disco today

What a bloody nightmare!!!

The instructions may have well been in chinesse. And then installed the remote control unit, had to remove half all over again. But it works fine and is very good quality.

What exactly is a 'stand heater' and why fit one in your Disco  :?:

and they lessen the risk of theft as people leave the keys in the car with the engine running otherwise.

I paid about £550 for it with timer and remote and then spent a day fitting it.
