Rear brake drums
« on: August 01, 2009, 13:23:57 »
Hi all

Not sure whether I need to post this here or in the Defender section......!

Would the rear drums on a 1982 SWB Series 3 be the same as a late 80's 90?

Thanks. It's just that we acquired a Series 3 as part of a bad debt, thats just been sold pending an MOT. I've got to fit rear shoes and the drums are a bit worn. I have an old 90 axle lying around so i thought I'd use those drums if they were any better.

Thanks mate. It's getting there! We now have a roof, doors and the rear part of the external cage. Most of the wiring is done. I have got more pics, but it's one of those 'round to it' jobs with the web site
