Tdi Alternator
« on: December 02, 2008, 20:52:07 »
Hi folks,

My bruv has a 1985 Defender 90 2.5 n/a diesel and wants to know if an alternator from a 200 Tdi Disco 1 will fit his engine?

He has the then British Leyland Freight Rover 15 J engine (think that's what he said maybe a 19 J )

When he's out in the truck with everything switched on the battery is not getting enough charge for him to be confident of it starting again after a trip. 8-[

Anyone know? :-k
