regarding towing.

Is it ok to tow a twin axle caravan with spacers on .or would it be to heavy.for the back axle i got the spacers on my 300tdi from paddocks. greetings henry :lol: 8-[

No reason why not??

the only extra strain you put on the axles with spacers on is on the bearings I think, but this souldn't be an issue with towing.

high Henry should be OK as long as nuts are tight as the spacer spreads the load round your hub Martie boy

With my reckoning on things you should be fine as you should only have 75kg max nose weight i find 65 works best.

I read in my manaul 170kg nose weight I think or 160kg. It was heavy any way.

Yeah,sorry your right im getting confused the figure i quoted was for my caravan tow hitch not the land rovers max weight on the tow ball,sorry if i miss lead anyone.

Our 'van and out car trailer both have a 100kg max loading on the coupling head, the RRC itself is rated at 150kg as are the 50mm ball couplings themselves.  This figure has to be taken into account on your max vehicle loading ie take stuff out of the car to compensate for the trailer nose weight.

You spacers should be rated in excess of your maximum vehicle weight, so the trailer shouldn't make any difference.
