Web sites about?
I've just bought one (1990 pick up) and it's doing me nut in all ready

Its got 33:12.50x15 tyres and maybe some sort of lift kit,as the top of the arch is a good 11" from the top of the tyre.
I need to lower it a tad and get some smaller tyres (the tyres stick a good 2" outside the arch) And if im honest, i feel b**dy silly driving it

Ppl stop dead in there tracks and just stair at you......and im not liking it

I'll get some pics in abit.

Do you think it's had some kind of body lift? Those tyres are 33" tall.

Well. The law says that your wheel arches must cover the tread of the tyre.

You can get bolt on wide arch kits from people like

http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?gclid=COar3Ou18pYCFQTnlAodAjUsXw
http://www.milneroffroad.com/Default.asp?c=13027

to list just 2.

The other option is to change the wheels to narrower ones.

And Elite4x4.co.uk is the place for hilux related stuff. Lots of lux owners.

looks a nice clean truck that one!

the law says the tread of the tyre must not be visable when viewed from above, it also means you have half a chance of keeping it clean for more than 10 mins!
