Grand V8 on LPG help
« on: September 03, 2008, 21:57:57 »
Hi all, Need help with fitting LPG to my 02 Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8, it’s the “Outlander” model with the high output motor 255bhp (std V8 220bhp) has any one had a system fitted to the H/Output model? When I spoke to a local LPG fitting station he seemed a little concerned about it, higher compression different “special” plugs etc, (and extra cost to fit) so need some advice please!

Also best place to go around the Leicester Derby Notts aria.  ;)
98 Fourtrak TDL with just mt's fitted (now for sale)
02 Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 Overland (255bhp & 17mpg)!! Cooper STT's OME 2" lift and Winch

This WJ's NOT on the school run!

(Sorry about the spelling)!

shouldn't be any problem, LPG can stand higher compression than petrol anyway. The issue is with the injectors/gas pump delivering enough LPG. I went up a size on my setup due to a few engine mods. Best find a conversion place that has delt with Jeep v8's before
