What is working? The obvious ones are things like the battery being fubar? does it have an immobiliser fitted? cos they can cause problems like this!

Have you tried bumpstarting it?

Let us know what you have tried and go from there.

Understandable.

Have you checked that the ignition switch is working? check that te starter terminal goes live when you hold the switch all the way round.

Now I'm not sure on the Disco but on the RRC the windows work with the ign in position 1, the other stuff you mention should work with the key out of the ignition altogether :-k
HAve a look at the fusebox, check which fuses are affected.  For the interior lights, horn and radio the fuses should be live, for the lights the fuses become live when they are seitched on.  Check and see if any power is getting tot he fusebox for any of the things that aren't working.

Does the clock work? because it sounds as though a live feed into the wiring loom is broken.  I'm going to check how many live feeds there are to the starter swich too.

I had a similar problem and i traced it to a broken main feed wire which is located on the drivers side inner wing it was covered in a fabric type covering

hope this helps  :)

On a disco 2 there is a single 15A fuse that controls all the things you mention, engine re-mobilisation, stereo, clock and interior lights.
