What do you think?
« on: July 13, 2008, 12:16:02 »
I have just been looking at a Grand Cherokee 4.7 with LPG on a T plate.

The bloke said £2.5k for a quick sale. I thought more like £2k. Am I off the mark or what?

Also what do you think about them as a vehicle?

Just had a 82k one in the local paper for £2.5k..

I'd say snap his hand off...

No major issues other than diff (classic Grand problem)

Has the 4.7 got the better diff though?

It's a good price at £2500 with LPG - better at £2000 though :D

Is there a 'cheap' insurance company that anybody know of?

I am at the moment in a specialist landie one, is there a similar. The difference I have been quoted is £304 on the landie and £508 on the jeep.

I am just a bit paranoid about costs. I know it will be more than the disco on bits but how much would an exhaust be for example?

I think with all my messing about checking things I may have missed it!

I have been told that it just had 2 new tyres and a new wind screen due to a stone chip and it went for an MOT and needs some bushes on the back suspension but the bloke thinks it has gone, for ............... wait for it ........ £1500!

Just in case it hasn't, how much for the bits, any ideas?
