HILUX, what tyre size?

hi all. im nearly about to get a hilux. i had a D reg one before on 31X10.50s. Im prob going to get a mark 3 or 4 double cab this time. whats the biggest tyres it will like on standard? would 33X13.50 maxxis mudzillas fit ok? or 35s?i dont think ill go larger than 35

also! it will be a 2.4 or 2.5. will this cope ok with larger tyres?

I think you can get 33`s on but there might e some rubbing if your playin offroad.

i have a set of 31x10.5`s off my mk 3..
2 good tyres, 2 ready for replacement. yours for £50, arrange your own courier/MC express!

i belive that 31 10.5 15's on a unlifted hilux is normally the max , most surf owners do a bodylift and a land cruiser spring mod to run 33's but a 2+2" will do . As for the 2.4 it will run on 33's but can be a bit slugish pulling away , There is one guy on the surf site that is running 35's with a 2.4 with out too much grief.

31s  on standard 33s on a 3" body lift and 35s on 3" body lift + 2" shackle lift
