I'd guess it's BSP taper.

I didnt think they were BSP, the ive had 2 engines and they had different threads on, I thought someone had possibly re-tapped one of them for some reason.

Took mine out to get a measured, and the engineer says its a M16x1, He also said thats a custom size, its usually M16x1.5!!! Not helpful if you want to buy a custom sender like me!!!!

Where are people getting TIM guages and senders from that fit???
