Green Car Wash
« on: February 09, 2008, 18:21:10 »
I'm Happy

Just washed both cars with rainwater. 1 water butt does the drive, a Vitara and a Disco and that includes jetwashing the loose stuff off. Best think is, rainwater is de-ionised and reasnably pure, NO WATER MARKS :)

Both cars have come up absoluteley amaing. And no water used from the tap.

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

where my dad used to work they built large tanks under the lorry wash bays to catch rainwater so they can wash the trucks without using mains, it also re catches and filters the water after washing so it can be reused
