Newbie in Northants
« on: January 14, 2008, 18:08:48 »
Something for the weekend, Sir? ;)

You bet... Disco, 300 TDi, 2" lift and winch bumper (no winch yet) and a vast shopping list that needs to be hidden from the Fun Prevention Officer... :P

Daily driver is an Audi (paid for...) so this truly is something to crawl under, get muddy, wash, crawl under, mend and so on... Mrs Lifted has brand new Freelander 2 and have to say it seems a well sorted bit of kit at this stage.

History with Landy's?

Lightweight with V8 heart transplant (tip for huge smiles... take door tops off, get passenger to 'see if all wheels will spin in this puddle' and watch resulting chaos...)

Ex-Police 2 door Range Rover - best RR I ever had.

2 x 4 door RR Classics - 1 manual, 1 Auto

Used RR's to tow big hospitality trailers into all manner of locations, but gave up when I found I was filling up twice in the same day (back before LPG was anything like as common as it is now) and went over to a diesel Nissan Patrol.

That's about it for now...
Discovery 300 Tdi - 2" lift, side exit exhaust, HD bumpers, T-Maxx 9500, removable tow hitch, snorkel and 235/85's

Discovery 4 Commercial - very standard but very nice!

Rude not to Minty...

I had intended being there in Jan but it all went horribly Pete Tong at the last moment.

7.30 it is then..
