Can anybody tell me where i can obtain a ECU for my V8 Disco. It is for a 3.9 Injection with removable chip or put me in touch with someone who can repair ECUs Nige
Does my bum look big in this??

my old local scrapyard used to deal with a guy who refurbed them... unfortunatley business changed hands a couple of years back.

maybe try a few auto electricians..

Secondhand, flea bay.

Which chip is removable? has it been modyfied? or was it originally removable (some here, some were'nt but I can't remember which).

If it's the chip itself that gone you could fit an upgraded chip to it.

The ECU has had an uprated Chip added .It is the ECU unit that has a Fault. i require a ECU with a removable chip carrier so i can put my uprated chip into the unit.Some have a carrier others are soldered into place.(3.5 units)
Does my bum look big in this??

Have a look on the RPI website, I'm sure that was where I read which ECU was which.  The export ones are different somehow (USA etc) but I don't recall clearly which ones had a DIL socket as standard under the main chip.
