Me and Bec rescued acar from a flood tonight :)

It was a black alpha t spark, with a red leather interior that had died in about a foot of water.

Dragged it out, and there was no way it was gonna start - Starter motor was ruined i recon.

Got a thanks from the police aswell who had closed the road as it was blocking - As soon as it was out they were on their way.

Didnt exactly offer any tokens, but did offer if i could drive him to a cash machine!!

What fun it was. :)

He was very quiet and really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really embarrassed.

He rang the AA just before i got there, and they said that they would be there in 4 hours! I tow'd him to a pub round the corner so he could wait there in the warm/dry.

He did say that he really appreciated me doing it, which was nice.

The police were pleased aswel.

What does amaze me though, it that its a foot deep, single road when its in flood, car obviously stuck, landrover with about 10 lights on it, BIG yellow tow rope, me in the water with torch, police car with blues flashing, and someone still drives in, all the way up to us, stops winds the window down, and asks what we are doing blocking the road.

Police told him to stop being stupid and reverse though the flood - He wasnt being pulled out by me!
