Got a early two door rr with a diff lock operated by a plunger type switch near gear lever is there any way to test the diff lock

:lol: Have you got a compressor if so get a blow gun and take the plastic pipes off the switch. Blow down the pipes and you should here the actuator throw the selector in. It's just operating a dog clutch in the transfer box.

Doing this you are just operating the switch by blowing rather than suction from the vacuum side of the engine.

:?: eh, surley if you blow into a vacuum diaphragm it won't work.
