Hi,

I have a 4 ltr HO 94 Cherokee and I was wondering if the digital display on the roof did anything more than just give the out side air temp or direction of travel??

Should it give MPG readings of distance left in tank or anything similar??

just curious ...

any thanks

Our does ('97 4.0L).  It has two buttons next to the readout - one to change between US and metric readings, and another that cycles through various options such as current mpg, overall mpg, temp/direction and off.  Not familiar with your year XJ though, so it may be different from ours.
It's life Jim, but not as we know it!
