Looking VERY nice...can't wait to see the finished item!
1995 Discovery 300 Tdi...steering guard, diff guards, +2" full lift kit/ProComp 9000s, extended braided brake hoses, 265/75/16 MTs on Freestyles, Camel Cut, Team ME4 CB, Southdown snorkel, Defender A-bar and Wipac 4x4s, Forte treatment in anything that moves and a shiny new boot floor!

Mine is nearly done too! similar amount of welding although we managed to patch my inner wings in the end!! Just got to put it all back together and fabricate new brackets for the front and the bottom of the wings.....and those silly little flappy bits the headlights sit in!

sounds all good, will have a full thread on the 110 double cab soon, the one in the last pic we have converted fron a 2 door hard top,and retro fitted a 200 disco tdi :D

The VW suspension lift looks good too, although I think you may have a centre of gravity problem  :P  :lol:  :lol:

Like your idea lee, the bug was scrap anyway lol

Will post more pics soon as, the last top coat is done just the rebuild to follow,
Also ive stripped my 2A bessy for a full repaint and 90 wings and modified 90 reat tub so i can get 90 spats on her, should look the dogs bits :shock:

why did u start with a rust bucket of a 2oo tdi and finsh with a 300tdi body sure a jap import rhd would have be alot of hours save u can get them for about 7 grand now . you must have spent that at least

I know its more expensive doing a full rebuild like Mick but I would prefer to do that than just break a Disco cause at the end of the day Micks keeping one more Disco on the road for another 10 years or more, good on ya mate and well done with the work you've done  :wink:

WHAT? sombody is not paying attention in class, the 200 rust bucket as you call it was got for the chassis, as the chassis on the 300 was twisted, i then rebuilt the customers 300 body, if you would like to ask the customer why he has spent so much on this motor feel free, whats wrong with rebuilding somthing you like? and have no intension of selling it, as for the easy jap import idea, well what fun would that be? easy is not the way i do business, hard work never hert anybody,and tbh i love the challenge, but thanks for your comments :D

My 1986 110 200tdi rust bucket stands me about £10-£15K as is & still needs a new chassis  :roll:  :lol:   However I am never going to sell it & I'm sure It'll be on the road long after the Jap stuff has rotted away!
