Suspension Lift
« on: August 13, 2007, 22:37:20 »
I have just helped a mate put a 2.5" lift kit on his Cherokee. Don't think he realised  how much higher the truck would be.

Does he need to fit longer brake hoses, and extend his anti roll bars?

Is there any thing else we need to look at?

Cheers

Did the kit include new dampers?
The front sway bar may need lowering but most people fit replacement sway bar disconnects which replace and extend the swap bar links. Wouldn't worry about the rear one (I ditched mine).
When lifting, you might want to think about a longer or adjustable trackbar too, but at 2.5" you should be ok.
I have a 4.5" lift and the brake lines are ok.
