Defender Truck Cab Seating
« on: June 18, 2007, 16:15:09 »
My mate has got a 90 v8 truck cab with a roll hoop on the back of the cab and a soft top over the back. He wondered is it legal for people to sit in the back. I have no idea about the law in regards to this and wondered if anyone on here might?
Would it be different if he had a hard back on? as have seen people sitting in the back of truck cabs with ifor williams covers on.

cheers

Technically, if the seats aren't there, then the space shouldn't be occupied. The use of seatbelts then depends on the age of the vehicle and a few other bits and pieces (none of which I can remember   ).
