Just saying Hi
« on: December 05, 2004, 22:49:50 »
Just been directed to this site from Pistonheads.com.  And thought I'd say Hi,

I'm 42 years old I work for a company that makes office furniture, and I've just bought a 96 Cherokee 4.0L.

I also have a TVR Griffith which is mostly a summer toy.

I'd like to use the Jeep for what it is intended but have absolutly no idea about off road driving, or where I'd be allowed to go etc.

I'd like to take it somwhere not to severe to begin with and move up from there.

Any suggestions or adivce would be much appreciated.

Oh by the way, I've only had it a week and had to change the water pump today, is this normal?

Regards

Andy.

Hi Andy,i know there are a few pay and play days around Much Wenlock which i think is your way. There`s a regular one at Farley Quarry and its for all,not just the serious offroader-lots of normal 4x4`s too,and everyones pretty friendly and helpful if you get stuck. For details on meets, visit www.4x4funday.co.uk.  You will have to enter address manually as for some reason this link doesnt work, anyway next event is on Boxing Day, hope that helps  :D  :D
