Hi, i've got a range rover diesel (2.5 vm turbo) but the engine has blown.

My question is would a 2.5 landrover engine go into it???? or a 3.3 perkins engine with landrover adapter plate fit? (both diesels)?

   I would get an Isuzu 2.8td out of a rusty Trooper, got one in my 110, goes very well, instant starter, excellent mpg and you can find a complete one for around £200.00. Parts are easily available from Milners etc. main dealers still have bits. Alternatively you could find a 3.1td from the later one again excellent engine especially iif towing.

The 200/300 into a VM is a very popular swap but there are a few small differnences.
