Horn Wiring
« on: May 11, 2007, 13:10:14 »
Just bought an air horn from halfords and have been looking at the wiring diagram, it says include a relay. Do i need a relay or can I plug it straight into where the existing horn connects?

Use the relay :)

Theres a lot of reasons but you should use the relay if only because it means you get a sperate correctly rated fuse for the compressor.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
