Out of all the chains I have stayed in I think the Hampton Inns are about the best

Time it right! I dn't know the hotels in Fort Lauderdale as we always get put up in Miami but the avaliability (and discount prices) will vary massively depending on what cruise ships are in.

You get get books of Discount coupons over there which pay their way on the first or second night.

I was there 20 years ago, top hotel sherton yankee trader or clipper.
Very nice very expensive. If you are on a budget and just need place to rest your head as  you look at the map of fort lau' head north on the coast road about 3/4 mile up from yankee trad, you'll find a bar called the parrot lounge and behind it is the golden sands motel comfortable and clean and a great pint in the parrot,
I have travelled all over the states and know florida , i lived in fort lau' for 8 monthsand then went to st pete's for 2months .
If you need any more help just ask I'll do my best to help you.
ps, I'm only 43. first line makes me feel old and where has that time gone
87 efi rangie special cam, 2" lift,
