1987 3.5 efi breaking - Middlesbrough
« on: March 09, 2007, 15:51:55 »
I am breaking some parts off Burt the Rangey as a result of a bobtail project and engine transplant. This was prompted by some engine problems that seem to have stemmed from getting water in the cylinders and causing a hydraulic lock. When running the engine seemed to be strangled and could only crawl along. I have been informed that it is probably bent valves or rods.

I am open to offers for the following:

V8 engine fitted with new timing gear, 3.9 cam and followers with 87k miles, plus starter and dizzy etc.
2 Rear doors in silver
Auto box
Transmission box
Complete exhaust in excellent condition but with sheared manifold studs
Rear lights
Rear panels
Upper tailgate - corroded and with knackered lock
Lower tailgate
Corroded rear bumper without and caps
Tow bar assembly
Rear Seats
All interior carpets
4xHD springs and procomp ES 9000 shocks
5 ropey rangey alloys fitted with new 235/85/16 MT Machos

Sorry, exposed hinges was the word I was trying to think of.  Any chance of some pictures? the bottom of the doors etc.  I'll PM an e-mail.

The doors have no corrosion and only damage is from branches - light surface scratches
