anyone stuck there 110 through a car was, did it break the car washer :-)

My 90 has been thorugh before with no issue, but not now I have the snorkle fitted, lost one top not willing to loose another  :lol:

Lets face its more likley a defender will break a car wash not the other way round 8)

DIY everytime! no missed bits of scratches either
Bobtail Range Rover 300tdi Manual
Body lifted, Gywn Lewis Challenge Suspension. Mach 5's with Jungle trekker Tyres ARB Locking Diffs Front and Rear. Steering Guard and Axel / Track Rod Guard. Modified bumpers front and rear Custome Rock sliders. Roccia Comp Arches,  Eleci Fans with X switch.

V8 90 County Defender. Rebuilt with galvanised chassi and bulkhead, Tubular sports manifodls and sports pipe. Old Man Emu suspension, under axel guard. BFGoodrich Muds on Mods.

well the car washes were shut so i give it a miss i see my snorkel top is pretty tight on there, i reckon it has to be worth a laugh,

it looks really cool sat next to the bmws in my work carpark covered in mud and it has two free bays next to it as i dont think anyone wants to park near it lol

note to self: there are to many panels on a 110 to t-cut and polish in one go  :x

what you need is a hardcore welded on snorkel top like ours ;) you're all mad anyway taking a land rover through a carwash.... you'll come out as wet as the landy

Get your local east European lot to do it. They seem to be springing up everywhere. My local one is £8 for Jetting down, hand wash, wheels cleaned, fully dried, wheels and tyres dressed, windows cleaned inside and out.

 Even after a days laning and it's filthy they don't complain.

 Now that aint bad i don't think.  :wink:

so far my snorkel top been nocked off 2 times and ive lost 4 ariels, then the 5th i lost offroading then i give up and aint bothered again
is funny watching peoples faces as you drive in  :lol:
always misses the damn tyres and winch tho  :evil:

watch the tyres though some tyre safety group reckons aiming a pressure washer straight at the tyres can severely damage the sidewalls. It;s in the news article on LRUKForums.

no such luck on the hand cash wash in basingstoke , Steve had his jetwash out and he didnt even offer to give it a once over lol


but i just drove past the bp and they have an offer on the top wash for the basic price so im going in lol
