Can anyone recommend a nice photo editing package, nothing too complicated and fairly straightforward to use please - for a complete beginner ( me  :lol:  )

PS, Free would be good, or at least not too expensive.

For free and powerful, try The GIMP, like Photoshop but opensource. Not as easy to use as some more basic programs though.

paint shop pro is simpler than photoshop and you can sometimes find it on coverdiscs of pc mags too
