Just wondered if anyone had a rough guide as to how much to get the bonnet resprayed on the RRC? lacquer has crazed, and it spoils the look of the car - few other tiny areas - but bonnet is major concern.
So anyone in the West Mids do spraying as a job??

Prices seem to have got screwed up recently but a mate is spraying a bonnet and tailgate in pearl coat (£40 a litre) for £180 cash.  Still has to go though books because of the materials.

You can sometimes get away with wet-flatting through the laquer and re-laquering, but it's a bodge no bodyshop will do.

Alternatively paint the bonnet matt black.

I am a painter but unfortunatly I am a fair distance from you. To get rid of that finish you would have to rub it down, prime, rub down again, basecoat then lacquer. About £100 would be mates rates depending on any dents etc.
