Engine Oil
« on: October 13, 2004, 07:32:18 »
Hi All, just got a 3.9 Vogue efi auto last week.  Given in to power steering/auto transmission instead of S111 heavyness--its gr8.
What grade Engine Oil should I use, I have asked around & get both 10 & 15 grade mentioned, the engine has done 70thou. & is not gassed.
Also what tyre pressures for 238/85/16's, the book only quotes for 205's.
Anyone got a Workshop Manuel for sale for a 1990 model?---Cheers---Cogs

You can use 10/40, 15/40 or 20/50, the choice is really yours.

Later models ran on progressively thinner oils because that's what was available.  If you aren't burning oil get a good quality 15/40 or 10/40 for winter.
