Alarm Help please
« on: November 14, 2006, 12:58:08 »
02 plate Defender TD5, wont respond to keyfobs, I can reset the thing using the EKA code, tried to get keyfobs reprogrammed but the guy cant program them.

Is this a new alarm unit or can the system be removed or bypassed ?

I realise bypassing is not something to be disscussed on open forum but if anyone can help please PM me, I have a rather expensive garden ornament at the moment !

If it's a standard Land Rover alarm then it can be turned off (and put into its basic mode) - but you need diagnostic equipment to do this.  Means the key fobs will not be used.

Odd that they can't program the new key fobs for you though....
