Inner Tube
« on: July 17, 2006, 23:05:23 »
Hi all I got a nail in one tyre (31x11.5x15) so thought I'd just get a tube fitted and use it as the spare.Have been to just about every tyre shop in Leeds (I know it's my fault for living in Leeds) with the words "Hi mate can you put me a tube in this".Now by the look on their faces this must sound like I'm saying "Hi mate can I sleep with your wife".Why the he** are things so hard to buy.Pete

I expect the problem is the Tyre size.  a 7.50 tube for instance would be no trouble to find at all.

If memory serves me correctly it is illegal to put an innertube in a tubeless tyre now.

IT isn't exactly a standard size which could be the problem, you could pop to Simmonites and ask for a tube (may be better to phone in advance), they are somewhere in yorkshire if memory serves correctly.  Will be expensive though.
