The split pins on the washers for the shock absorbers can be a pain, I've taken to using these, instead.

They hold just as good without the hassle of being a pain to get out

Not lost one yet

Also fitted on the range rover when I had that, the same result not one lost, and the rr does a lot of off roading

Also if they are big enough to use them on NATO tow hitches, dont know if they go that big though
