150 sounds about right for a unmodified motor.

Yes, thats what I have been doing. So far got £122 TPTF agreed value, legal, courtesy car, protected bonus.......from Endsleigh.

That seems good, but will still keep looking!! Confused.com are about £116....

Do the NFU do insurance? Thought they may be cheap

As a bodyshop we deal with insurance companies every day.  Endsleigh - nightmare.  NFU - excellent (from both our and the insured's points of view.  To an extent , you get what you pay for.

Is TPFF the best thing to go for, just think of a little dent on a lane with a post that rips the wing, new wing job, covered on fully comp for little extra cost.  Try Sureterm

Third party insurance over fully comp, nowadays is the difference really worth not paying.

A small ding hear or there is one thing, a roll or some idiot running into you is something completely different

Its a question of what you would claim for, myself a claim would be a major crunch where its not worth repairing it myself, but with these beasts they can take quite a bit of hammer, but if it means bodywork etc you have to think on the cost and doing the work. Especially if you havn't got the time and/or the facilities to do any major work

Try a company called Aon Risk services. They do 'classic' policies.

I'll try and find the number for you.

Sureterm

I got the IIa £104

101 £124

Both modified (101 as a camper... or in the middle of) , IIa very moddified... Jag lump 3 Speed Auto, presently off the road

5000 miles in each each year with green lance cover, no no claims accrument though but for the money and bearing in mind they are modified I'd be surprised if they don't do you for around £100 unless you live near a teefs estate.

Blimey!! Count myself lucky then!! And as for a tracker, imobilser, well surely Lucas Prince of Darkness can sort the electrics out for itself, no need for a immobilser, and as for a Tracker, the trail of EP90 leaking from the rustsy diff pan should suffice....
