Today i replaced the front speakers (because they were farting), Fitted the CB.
Nev (tufftee) came over today (thursday) and we fitted the bigger bigger bump stops, fitted the front diff guard, removed the mud flaps and fitted the Devon 4x4 raised spare wheel carrier.
Sorted the wire for the CB aerial too.
Not a bad couple of days.
All thats left for now is get the mud terrains fitted to the alloys, put bigger spacers on the anti roll bars, fit a mag mount aerial for sunday and we're ready for the 1st outing.

jake, re. rear atb, you may aswell remove it, cos it will flip over even when its spaced,

also have you fitted cones on the rear springs?

looking good though 8)

Not if it's spaced ... and you don't need cones with an anti-roll bar, 'cos the suspension won't go that far - which is good and bad

That's my experience anyway :)

gords, like i said the atb was spaced before i tested it, and it still flipped over

and the way jakes going he's going to want as much articulation as possible, so i'd suggest it be removed and cones fitted 8)

The day before the first outing

We went to Thames Tyres in Slough.
Ricky there always looks after Land Rovers.
Most other places wont swap 2nd hand tyres around  :x
So, we got the mud terrains off the series and on to Challenger.
What a difference!!
It looks like an off roader now!
Also i fitted the anti roll bar spacers, backand front
Then i cut the rear arches and got the CB working.
I fitted a 750 x 16 (dodgy) spare, just in case (you never know)
ITS READY!!!!
I'm well pleased.
Bring on the mud!!!!

No problems at all.
2" of spacers all round and worked fine.
It had some nice cross axle today too.
I'm very pleased with its performance.
