Any news for the new Freelander (2006 model year)?

People Hi,

does anyone have any news about the new Freelander that was announced for 2006 MY.
Apart from it not being available with 3 doors, and being fitted with 2.2 up to 3.0 lt. diesel and petrol engines?
Any photos apart from the one showing the testing mule?

Thats the freelander 1 though and not the Freelander 2, they are only going to be in 5 door version

Hi,

Just found an article in the Feb 06 edition of LRE, It shows a couple of pictures of a undisguised pre-production Freelander.

The public launch is scheduled for the London Motor Show in july but to be released by 2007, also rumours say that Volvo will provide the larger engines!
