poor shout that

my main vehicle for a long time was my 110 - its a 300tdi, but with the bloody huge roofrack, huge baja claw tyres, a lift and all the rest it only did 24mpg. and that was at 55mph because any more speed would result in an assault of my eardrums, but not of the nice kind. now i have the V8 which is bloody loud stock (will soon be without a centre box, and will have an edelbrock carburettor conversion) it assaults the ears, but its of the grin making variety.

it scares children

Don't use the downdraught carb if you use it off road. They don't like steep inclines.
