Hi i have a friend who has who has a freelander 1 its a y reg 1.8 petrol 3 door, we are looking at fitting a tow bar on it and i was wondering if anyone knew if thier is existing wiring for a tow bar (if so where is it) sorry we are not used to working on freelanders, (not used to all this interior trim  Laugh Out Loud) we have a defender!

Hi there, if you remove the offside rear trim panel there should be a multiplug (8or10 pins) and you just plug the wiring kit into that.

You may also have to change the flasher relay  - its a different one for vehicles with tow bar !!
