Yes that's about right for fuel economy on the 3.1 - it's indirect injection and a thirsty lump. Winding out the fuel pump, disconnecting the egr's and cleaning the inlet will help though. I used to be able to get just over 400 from a tank.

As for lifting. Keep away from milners springs, they are junk, but 2" lift is a case of lifting the rear end on longer springs or spacers and winding the tortion bars up a little.

A site like muddyfrontera.co.uk has a lot of information on it (you need to register to get most of the info).

Sell a child for a winch bumper - They are about 700 from arb.

Yeah longer springs. Devon4x4 might be able to help?  OME ones.   Yeah just wind up the tortion bars, don't go over 2" though.  Your stock shocks are fine at 2", but an upgrade is never a bad thing.  Just keep away from milners, you'll get a 2" lift alright, but you'll have a 2" sag in 12 months.

upto give or take 2" the camber will be fine. After that flip the ball joint onto the lower side of the upper wishbone to get the camber back. Pretty easy really.

Massive wheel arches on the troopers too, 33's will go in no problems with a 2" lift.
